~ Release by Elvis Costello & The Attractions (see all versions of this release, 1 available)
Annotation
Double LP bootleg released 1978? Manufactured in Belgium or France (probably the former), all label information is in French. On the Slipped Disk label. Tracks 1-14 Radar Records demo recordings, some solo, some with the Attractions. Tracks 15-17 credited as 'Live at the 4 Ackers Club Marcey, N.Y. 1977' Tracks 18-34 credited as 'Live at the Agora, Cleveland 12/5/77'
At the time of its 'release', this was regarded as being the other essential Elvis boot, after the Mocambo LP. It's particularly notable for having the first appearance on disk of Hoover Factory, and also (I think) the first appearances of Tiny Steps and Big Tears.
Some of the demos lack in production quality, but much of the live material on disk 2 is of a very good quality. The sets feature some particularly brutal edits at the end of tracks, but with nearly an hour and three quarters of material here, this was a reaonably good value (at the time) record to have.
